22 de Feb 2018 - 20 de May 2018
In collaboration with the Musei Capitolini of Rome, Italy, we present one of the few works of Caravaggio that exist in the world: La Buona Ventura (1596), a key painting to understand the early development of the artist and his first approach to the chiaroscuro.
The exhibition shows the legacy of tenebrism proposed and spread by Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio (1571-1610) in painting from Europe and New Spain through the representative works of national archives.
At the same time, the Caravaggio Experience will allow the visitor to appreciate the plastic solutions of this painter by fostering a multisensory immersion in his work.
